Six Flags & Kittens

Tenth post; five followers. :)

Six Flags again today - wow, huge difference between today and last week. The lines were sooooooooo much longer today which meant not riding as much, then it started raining lightly so all the big rides shut down. Oh well. I rode Mr. Freeze in the front for the first time though - totally worth the wait. Now I'm really tired.

Wow my thoughts look so disjointed right now.

One of my best friend's cats had kittens this week. <3

Days, Weeks, Years

When did my week become so gloriously fun? :)

Wednesday: cram as much geometry in as I can, do some science, then attending the opening of WICKED!!! AAAAAAAH! My favorite play/musical/whatever. :)
Thursday: Six Flags (again, just went last Wednesday) all day. :)
Friday - Monday: Going up to Oklahoma with my best friend to her family's ranch. :)
Then my two week long physics labs start. Blaaaaahhhh.
I'll let you know if I survive.

And today was a good day too. Because I went to Hobby Lobby and bought some really colorful fake flowers, a stop sign, and a drawer knob. Because I just bought new music. Because I got a lot of driving in. Because I got ice cream and banana chips.

I've been thinking about doing a 365 project for a while. Annnnnddd I've decided that I want to do a 365 photo project (take a picture and upload it everyday for a year) as well as a 365 Bible project (read it in a year). They'll both start on June 1st. I'm excited. It'll fun, but a challenge at the same time. I'm not the best about staying on top of things. =P

NOTE: I will be gone all day tomorrow (the first of June) sooooo I'll probably end up just uploading two photos on the second (I know, it's a really lame start). But I WILL start with my Bible 365 tomorrow morning. :) - May 31st.

Okaaayyyy, so I have no wonderful or exciting thoughts right now (when do I ever on here?), but I have a bunch of pictures that I'm really happy about that I have to post RIGHT NOW! :) Wow that smiley's creepy. Anyway.

10 Thoughts at the Moment
1. My laptop's screen is a little too bright. I must darken it.
2. There, that's much better.
3. I like the sound that those toy lightsabers make. I said they were enthralling, though I'm not quite sure that's a good word to use.
4. I had chips and salsa for dinner.
5. Hey! I just realized that my skin didn't react allergically to sitting in the grass all day! Huzzah!
6. I have never seen Annie all the way through. :(
7. My bed is really messy. Note to self: clean bed after blog post.
8. I've never seen more than a minute of Lost in my life, nor do I intend to, so I'm not wallowing in sadness now that it's completed. Yay for never consistently watching any shows!
9. I just realized that I lost my pumpkin. Hmmm, I wonder where it went? Darn. I hate losing things.
10. I love the word dapper, but I don't think I've ever used it aloud.

Less Than Twelve

Why am I writing a new post less than twelve hours after publishing a post? I have no idea. Because it's fun I guess?

I want to go to the library. I need new books to read.

I also need to clean my room. When my room's a mess, my life's a mess. The messiness of my room dictates my mood. Yay. Oh well, since my sister Courtney's not here, I can blast some August Rush music and whirl around the room picking stuff up. Or not. Instead I'm just sitting here. I want to clean out my closet too, but it's Courtney's stuff that needs cleaning out, not mine. That's depressing. I like clean closets. I like clean everything.

Hmm I feel like going to target. I want to get some more bobby pins, and I really want to get a sock monkey and take pictures of it. Courtney has sock monkey slippers, but that's not the same.

Higgledy Piggledy

Because it was funny and that's how my room and I feel right now.

I also feel like writing in all lower caps but that will bug me later, so I'm taking care of the caps right now. How responsible. Or stupid.

I'm soooooooo tired right now but I don't feel like going to bed yet. Why do I always feel that way? Yesterday I went to Six Flags with a bunch my friends, and I was very happy that I rode all the roller coasters (most of them multiple times), except for Judge Roy Scream, and that doesn't really count. We stayed from opening until closing and then I was up late last night, not being able to fall asleep because of all the vertigo. And today I had a calculator class all day, and that wiped my brain out.

I've decided that I get random and slightly irrational when I'm really tired. It's kind of funny.

One random thing about me; I really really really like brushing my teeth. I love the super clean feeling afterwards. It's lovely.

I hate trying to figure out my html coding when I mess up because I'm horrible at it.

Scutter

Ughhhh I'm so fed up with facebook's picture quality. The only reason I'm creating a new post is to upload a few of my favorite pictures from my photoshoot with Cassie the other day.

Other than that, today is a good day. Photoshoot tonight with my bestie, chicken spaghetti for dinner that my little sister is making for our family, then six flags tomorrow with all my friends. :)





Haha I was in such a rush I forgot to name this. Hmmm.... how about scutter? British word for scurry - but don't look at the word in urban dictionary; you won't find anything nice there. ;)

Thoughts

I don't really have much to say tonight, just a bunch of random scattered thoughts floating around inside my crazy head. So I'll just make a note of those real quickly, then I'll upload several pictures, because I'm very happy with the pictures I took today.

Went job searching yesterday; applied at Dickey's Barbecue, Chick-fil-a, Wendy's, Taco Bell, and nosed around at Walgreens, CVS, and probably some other places that I can't remember. I'm glad I did, but honestly I hope that none of them hire me because I don't really want to work at any of them for a long time. =P I know, that's a horrible attitude to have.

Now I'm wondering what CVS stands for... google! "CVS" stands for "Convenience, Value and Service", but it used to stand for 'Consumer Value Stores'. Well. You learn something new everyday! Or at least I usually do.

Hmmm I have more thoughts than I initially thought I would. Oh well I'll get on with the pictures because now my thoughts are boring me. Nope, my blog has no real purpose. Rather pathetic, but I don't really care.



So I was mailing a letter and was inspired by it. I have some other really amazing pictures, but they have my friend's address on it and I'm not giving that to anyone. Those are for her enjoyment alone. :) Oh and I really love the ladybug pictures. I'm very pleased with the way they turned out.

A Fragment of Freedom

Well, today was my last World View class until the fall. Soooo exciting and liberating. :) World View basically covers all of my high school credits except for math and science (just a few chapters to go until summer!) . This year in my World View class I have read Dante's Inferno, Paradise Lost, Pilgrim's Progress, the Westminster Confession, A Tale of Two Cities, Lex Rex, Second Treatise, and many other things. It makes me feel rather smart until I forget everything I've learned from these books.

On a happier note, I took some pictures outside with Courtney the other day. We grabbed my dad's keyboard that we sometimes hook up to our iMac and lugged it outside to use as a prop. The pictures turned out well overall, but I don't really like the tone of them. I love Court's hair though, so maybe I'll do something similar to this but slightly different next time. We'll see.

My room is currently littered with fruity, rainbow marshmallows from our marshmallow war last night - the Benefields are sleeping over with us several times this week and it gets rather hectic when they're here. ;)

Again

Yes, I'm posting twice in one day. That seems a little obsessive, but who cares? There aren't any rules for blogging, so I guess I'll take advantage of that.

The only reason I'm posting this is because I'm bored but don't really feel like going to bed. So I'll just jot down a number of random thoughts while I wait for my sister to finish her ncis episode.

I'm listening to owl city right now. I like his music because it's quiet and relaxing but cheerful at the same time. I like cheerfulness. And cherries.



Yum. I have the best dad ever. Last night he drove courtney and I to wal mart right after youth. We wanted some rainbow sherbert. Courtney got blue bell while I got generic (it was 30 cents cheaper AND fat free haha). Later I wished I had gotten blue bell because the generic brand had lemon, lime, and orange flavor, but it didn't taste the same as blue bell. And there was no pink flavor. Lime is my favorite.

I decided to do some experimenting this evening, so I took some very different pictures. Here's a taste of what I shot. Between the frog this morning and these pencil pictures tonight, I've been lying in the grass alllll day and now my legs are spotty and red. Yay.

Iniziale

Well, this is my first blog post. I decided not to call this post "first post" or something like that, because that is so boring. So I called it iniziale, which means initial in italian. I liked the z in it.

Not much has happened today. I went outside to take some pictures and I saw this toad floundering in my pool, so I picked him up and put him down in the grass. I figured he owed me since I saved his life, so I took some pictures of him.

I named him Jake.

I kept calling him a frog, and my sister kept yelling at me to call him a toad.


I really liked this picture of him because of all the color in it.

Had quite a hard time uploading that, it kept telling me that my HTML couldn't be accepted because I hadn't closed a tag. And I don't really know how that happened since I didn't really do the coding myself. Silly blog.
